Each tarot card delivers a metaphysical or moral lesson and recounts an episode of the initiatory journey, while at the same time describing certain yoga exercises.
The cards can thus be interpreted on diverse and varied levels.
We can content ourselves with considering the tarot just as a book of pictures in which it is advised to decipher the sense, as we do for books on alchemy or the architecture of cathedrals. But, in a way, this would be forgetting the most essential.
