TECHNICAL FILE Special Head Sways STEP BY STEP BREAKDOWN OF THE LATERAL HEAD SWAY (Average time for downloading the animations with ADSL: 2 min) (Average time for downloading the animations at low speed: 6 min) TECHNICAL SHEET N. 1: LATERAL head sway
AFTER MAKING A PHOSPHENE: 2nd way to practice.
ALL THE OTHER HEAD SWAYS ARE PRACTICED THE SAME WAY. The only thing that changes is the movement of the head.
Note N.1: Question regarding the position of eyes (extracted from the French Forum): Q. Ladybird: I would like an explanation regarding a small detail: when we practice the sways, do we need to keep the gaze fixed, eyes closed, while imagining the point of concentration moving from right to left (for the lateral head sway, for example) or do we have to make a real physical eye movement from right to left while imagining the point of concentration? Thank you. A. Ahura: Hello, Ladybird, During the sways, the eyes naturally follow the movement of the head. There is no need to force the movement of the eyes or the exercise will quickly become very tiring. As a whole, the head sway and the eyes must be natural, and the movement must be done without fatigue or effort. When the movement becomes simple and natural, it is easier to focus your attention on the visualization. Practice well. A. Ladybird: Thank you for your answer, Ahura. Up until now I did not shift my gaze and I only did the swaying in my mind. So, thank you once again for this very important explanation. ----------------------------------- Note N.2: If you have degenerative osteoarthritis of the neck, do the sways starting from the level of the pelvic region. In certain traditions the sways start from the hips, the cervical vertebrae therefore remain in alignment with the top of the vertebral column. For more information about the practice see Dr. LEFEBURE’s courses.
