TECHNICAL SHEET N. 1:
LATERAL head sway

Generalities:
- The lateral, vertical, antero-posterior, figure 8 sways and the rotations are performed in 3 phases.
- The 1st and 3rd phase are for gathering momentum, i.e. provide enough amplitude so that one can induce rhythmic thinking.
- The rhythm at which the phosphene has the most amplitude in the sways is the rhythm of two seconds, for an inclination of roughly 45° to the vertical axis.
- The term « mantra » etymologically means: mental sound. It consists of sounds (a series of syllables pronounced mentally or out loud) that do not necessarily have a meaning, but that have the advantage of allowing a continuous, regular repetition. The regularity of the rhythm allows a greater accumulation of energy in thoughts.
- To maintain the rhythm, use the i-Mantratron.
- The horseshoe head sway is practiced on a rhythm of 3 seconds. 3 seconds one way and 3 seconds back in one continuous motion.

- After you have made a phosphene, sway your head on the rhythm, say the mantra: a vowel each time your head reaches the end of a sway.
- ALL the exercises are much more beneficial when carried out with a thought:
* geometrical figures, which give access to the planes of abstract thought.
* the plant kingdom, which gives access to the etheric plane.
* the point of concentration, which gives access to the higher planes of consciousness.

For more information see the practical exercises contained in the Phosphenic Energy e-Box set.
AFTER MAKING A PHOSPHENE: 1st way to practice.
LATERAL head sway mantra EELLEE = intuition. Telepathy. Strengthening of the personality allowing the overcoming of stress.

1st step: 45° motion at a rhythm of 2 seconds (1 second one way and 1 second back). Duration: 1 minute.

See the Phosphenic Energy box set, and The Yoga of Two Seconds.
2nd step: Tiny movements of the head during which you should try to focus your attention on the sensation of the encephalon (the brain) moving within the cranium. Keep using the rhythm of 2 seconds. Duration: 1 minute.
3rd step: Back to the first step. Movement at a 45° angle, at a rhythm of 2 seconds. Duration: 1 minute.

AFTER MAKING A PHOSPHENE: 2nd way to practice.
1st step: Movement at a 45° angle at a rhythm of 2 seconds (1 second one way, 1 second back).
Duration: 1 minute.

But the point of concentration moves from one temple to the other.
2nd step: Tiny movements of the head during which you should focus your attention on the sensation of the encephalon (the brain) moving within the cranium. Keep using the rhythm of 2 seconds.
Duration: 1 minute.

But the point of concentration moves from one temple to the other.
3rd step: like the first step.

ALL THE OTHER HEAD SWAYS ARE PRACTICED THE SAME WAY. The only thing that changes is the movement of the head.

Note N.1: Question regarding the position of eyes (extracted from the French Forum):
Q. Ladybird: I would like an explanation regarding a small detail: when we practice the sways, do we need to keep the gaze fixed, eyes closed, while imagining the point of concentration moving from right to left (for the lateral head sway, for example) or do we have to make a real physical eye movement from right to left while imagining the point of concentration? Thank you.

A. Ahura: Hello, Ladybird,
During the sways, the eyes naturally follow the movement of the head. There is no need to force the movement of the eyes or the exercise will quickly become very tiring. As a whole, the head sway and the eyes must be natural, and the movement must be done without fatigue or effort. When the movement becomes simple and natural, it is easier to focus your attention on the visualization. Practice well.

A. Ladybird: Thank you for your answer, Ahura. Up until now I did not shift my gaze and I only did the swaying in my mind. So, thank you once again for this very important explanation.

Note N.2: If you have degenerative osteoarthritis of the neck, do the sways starting from the level of the pelvic region. In certain traditions the sways start from the hips, the cervical vertebrae therefore remain in alignment with the top of the vertebral column.

For more information about the practice see Dr. LEFEBURE’s courses.
