Special Head Sways


BREAKING DOWN
OF THE LATERAL HEAD SWAY

Generalities:
- The lateral, vertical, antero-posterior, figure of 8 sways and the rotations are performed in 3 phases.
- The 1st and 3rd phase are for gathering momentum, i.e. provide enough amplitude to it so that one can induce rhythmic thinking.
- The rhythm at which the phosphene has the most amplitude in the sways is the rhythm of two seconds, for an inclinaison of roughly 45° to the vertical axis.
- The term « mantra » etymologically means : mental sound. It consists in sounds (series of syllables pronced mentally or in a loud voice) that do not necesserilly have a meaning, and that have the advantage to allow a continuous, regular repetition. The regularity of the rhythm allows a greater accumulation of energy in thoughts.

- The horseshoe head sway is practiced at a rhythm of 3 seconds. 3 seconds one way and 3 seconds back in one continuous motion.
AFTER DOING A PHOSPHENE: 1st way to practice.

1st step: 45° motion at a rhythm of 2 seconds (1 second one way and 1 second back). Duration: 1 minutes.

2nd step: Tiny movements of the head during which you should try to focus your attention on the sensation of your brain moving within your skull. Keep using the rhythm of 2 seconds. Duration: 1 minute.
3rd step: Back to the first step. Movement at a 45° angle, at a rhythm of 2 seconds. Duration: 1 minute.


AFTER DOING A PHOSPHENE: 2nd way to practice.
1st step: Movement at a 45° angle at a rhythm of 2 seconds (1 second one way, 1 second back).
Duration: 1 minute.

But the point of concentration moves from one temple to the other.
2nd step: Tiny movement of the head during which you should focus your attention on the sensation of your brain moving within your skull. Keep using the rhythm of 2 seconds.
Duration: 1 minute.

3rd step: like the first step.


ALL THE OTHER HEAD SWAYS ARE PRACTICED THE SAME WAY. The only thing that changes is the movement of the head.
